Industrial aerial operations · Ireland

Critical Infrastructure.
Inspected. Cleaned. Mapped.

Ecodrones helps Ireland's infrastructure, energy, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors inspect, maintain and understand critical assets without scaffolding, confined-space entry or operational downtime.

Certified flight crew

Every mission is flown by our own licensed, insured operators.

We do not subcontract flight operations. Ecodrones crews are IAA Specific Category authorised, EASA compliant and trained on the specific platform and method the job requires — from radiometric thermal survey to 200 bar vertical cleaning and confined-space entry.

Each deployment is planned, risk assessed and briefed before mobilisation, with method statements, permits and flight records issued as part of the deliverable pack.

About our operations

IAA Specific Category

Operations authorised under Irish Aviation Authority Specific Category operational authorisation.

EASA compliant

Procedures, risk assessment and record keeping run to European standards.

Fully insured

Public/Product Aviation Liability to €6.5m, plus Chemical Liability and Professional Indemnity cover. Certificates on request.

Platform rated

Crews type-trained per airframe, including heavy-lift, spray and indoor platforms.

Site ready

Safe Pass, manual handling and site inductions completed ahead of mobilisation.

Rental pilots

Trained operators available on hire, with equipment, for your own programmes.

Eight operational capabilities

Outcomes, not equipment.

Every capability exists to reduce risk, reduce downtime, reduce cost and increase asset intelligence.

In action

See the fleet at work.

Real operations on real assets — inspection, cleaning and application flown by our own certified crew under IAA Specific Category authorisation.

Technology

Built around capability.
Not equipment.

Each platform in the fleet exists because it solves a specific commercial problem — access, downtime, data quality or personnel exposure.

Industrial high-pressure cleaning

ABZ C10

Cleans façades, solar arrays and industrial surfaces at height without cranes, scaffolding or rope access — with radar-based automatic stand-off distance control.

  • 200 bar · 900 L/h
  • Up to 60 m working height
  • Radar distance control

Precision aerial application

ABZ L30 V2

Applies treatments across ground that machinery would compact or damage, with LiDAR terrain-following for consistent boom height.

  • Up to 21 ha/h
  • ~€1.20 per hectare
  • ABS Sense LiDAR

Granule and seed distribution

ABZ S50

Distributes seed, fertiliser and bait at scale over saturated or inaccessible ground, with no soil compaction and rapid refill cycles.

  • 50 L capacity
  • 1,100 kg/h rate
  • 4–9 m spread width

Heavy-lift sensor carrier

ABZ M12

Carries bespoke inspection and survey payloads — thermal, LiDAR, gas — on a CE-certified airframe with open interfaces for custom integration.

  • 12 kg payload
  • 15–50 min endurance
  • CE certified · C4

Thermal and visual inspection

DJI Matrice 4T

Locates thermal anomalies, water ingress and electrical faults in a single flight, with repeatable flight paths for year-on-year comparison.

  • Radiometric thermal
  • Laser rangefinder
  • RTK positioning

Confined space and internal survey

Flyability Elios 3

Enters tanks, ducts, silos and vessels so personnel do not have to, and returns a LiDAR model of the interior.

  • Collision-tolerant cage
  • SLAM LiDAR
  • GPS-denied flight

Why Ecodrones

Commercial outcomes, stated plainly.

Faster shutdowns

Inspection windows measured in hours, so turnarounds start and finish on schedule.

Reduced risk

No one at height, no one in a vessel. Exposure is removed rather than managed.

Better data

Radiometric thermal, LiDAR and high-resolution imagery captured in one mobilisation.

Repeatable reporting

Fixed flight paths make each survey directly comparable to the last.

Less downtime

Assets stay in service during most inspection and cleaning operations.

Engineering-grade documentation

Deliverables written for engineers, insurers and regulators — not for marketing.
